For example, we have a customized Wave Motion Simulation Platform. Working with customers, we have used the facility to investigate system resonance, fluid forces, structural integrity and process influences for sea conditions in several of the world’s seas and at varying levels of storm conditions. Any scale model mounted on the platform can be subjected to a variety of sea states that impart specific motions to it. These include roll, pitch, heave, surge, sway and yaw that can be applied individually, or in combination.
