For your primary separation needs, the ConSepT ICD™ is an advanced yet compact solution for improved separator efficiency.
The design incorporates a reversed flow cyclone that uses centrifugal forces to separate and distribute the incoming flow, all with minimum size and weight within a separator vessel. The cyclones have a gas blockage arrangement that ensures no gas carry-under with the liquid. Perforated liquid distributors are arranged to minimize turbulence in the separator liquid compartment and to avoid high impulses penetrating into the separator water layer.
The device is ideal for efficient foam suppression and flow uniformity in both horizontal and vertical 2- and 3 phase separators.
With minimum capital cost outlay, you can reduce foaming, improve efficiency, and even increase throughput with an ICD retrofits application for your existing separators.
The technology is supported by extensive R&D and CFD capabilities. Our pilot plant testing facility and CFD modeling capabilities ensures the best technology selection for your particular application.
