MOZLEY WELLSPIN™

Desanding wellstreams is a considerably more onerous duty than desanding produced waters, with high pressures, slugging three phase flow, and widely varying feed conditions encountered. Our Mozley Wellspin™ technology is perfectly suited to operate over a wide operational and performance envelope.

The Mozley Wellspin desanding hydrocyclone has been developed to effectively remove sand from well streams in simple, compact systems with solid/liquid hydrocyclones. The core of the technology is the geometrical design which provides maximum resistance to wear, maximum solids removal capability, and robust operation. The Mozley Wellspin can be customized to operate with a continuous discharge, or alternatively utilize a separate solids accumulation vessel.

Mozley Wellspin technology provides:

  • Maximum solids removal
  • Broad operational envelope, with the ability to maintain separation capability under wide variations in conditions
  • Manages slug flows, high viscosities and high gas concentrations
  • Reduce weight and space requirements
  • Best wear resistance

Operators prefer the Mozley Wellspin:

  • No sand deposited in flowlines and headers
  • No need for flowline and header flushing, or sand removal systems
  • No sand deposition in the production station
  • No modification to existing flow station design
  • Fully automated
  • Protection for sensitive downstream monitoring/control equipment
