Thiopaq®
Thiopaq is designed to safely and efficiently remove hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from biogas and other sour gases while minimizing the generation of harmful emissions or effluents. The process is suitable to applications where the processed biogas can be utilized as fuel or if flaring the gas does not produce emission issues. The system produces elemental sulfur may be sold, used as fertilizer, or safely disposed of in land fills. The Paques desulfurization technology is similar to a caustic scrubber-based system but with a more economical regenerative process. The Thiopaq system is specifically designed for low-pressure biogas streams.
