Petroleum Industry Technical and Safety Program

All NATCO educational assets are accumulated in Houston and Midland, Texas, but are also widely spread among all offices of NATCO and its partners.

Metering Program

Our measurement division offers a meter school program designed to demonstrate the use of positive displacement, turbine meters and Coriolis (mass) meters.

More specifically, the program focuses on:

  • Application of positive displacement meters in LACT and custody transfer services
  • Meter calibration using master meters, bidirectional provers, and small provers.
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Witnessing the repair and maintenance of a meter.
  • Trouble-shooting and meter repair
  • New measurement and control equipment
